Five Star - 95 Points | Huon Hooke | The Real Review
Victoria’s historic Great Western region has long been a source of top Australian shiraz. A.T. Richardson’s Grower Series highlights individual vineyards in the district.
From the Morris vineyard, this is like an essence of the region’s shiraz with wonderfully deep, saturated purple colour and a characterful yet nicely subdued nose. Aromas of black plums, crushed blackberries, bitter chocolate, spice and woodsmoke have a sort of granitic, earthy overlay. The elements of further complexity with age are already there, and it shows great depth in the mouth without undue heaviness. It has lovely flow and presence, supported by grainy tannins in fine harmony.

Tracks, a true story following a young woman trekking across the Australian desert with only a couple of camels for company- made me want to ‘just go walking’.
